Common Problems While Downloading the Admit Card

Many candidates face small issues while trying to download the admit card. Here are the most common problems and simple solutions for each:

Problem 1: Admit card page not loading – This usually happens when the website has heavy traffic right after the admit card is released. Try again after a few hours. Use a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge). Clear your browser cache before trying again.

Problem 2: Forgot Registration Number or Password – Visit ssc.gov.in and use the 'Forgot Registration ID' or 'Forgot Password' option. You may need your email ID or mobile number to recover your credentials.

Problem 3: Wrong name or photograph on the admit card – If your personal details are incorrect, contact the SSC regional office immediately. Carry your original application acknowledgment and ID proof when visiting the office.

Problem 4: Admit card shows wrong exam centre – Raise a grievance on the official SSC portal before the exam. Do not skip the exam assuming the centre is wrong — always verify first.

Problem 5: Photo or signature not visible on printout – Try printing in colour instead of black and white. If the photo is still not clear, contact your regional SSC office and request a corrected copy.
